This is one you are going to want to hold on to, folks! It’s simple, it’s flavorful, it’s nutty, it’s one of my favorite savory ways to enjoy pecans. This Pecan Pesto is one of the most underrated savory pecan recipes. If you are a bit hesitant like I was at first, don’t be. This Pecan Pesto deserves commitment and you deserve the chance to enjoy it- every last bite!

Recipe:

  • 2 Cups Fresh Basil
  • ½ Cup Farm Fresh Pecans (I used Extra Large Pecan Pieces)
  • ¼ Lemon Juice
  • 3 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • ½ Teaspoon Salt
  • ½ Teaspoon Pepper
  • 2 Teaspoons Garlic
  • ¼ Cup Grated Mozzarella Cheese
  • ¼ Cup Parmesan Cheese 

Directions: 

  1. Combine all ingredients in a food processor or blender. Mix until smooth.
  2. Serves as a dip with pita, or as a pizza or past sauce. Enjoy!
